Kuching: The tourism council of the Brunei-Indonesia–Malaysia-Philippines East Asean Growth Area (Bimp-Eaga) is appealing for input in its tourism market survey.
The survey was launched following the recent Bimp-Eaga senior officers meeting in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Council chairman Audry Wan Ullok said yesterday that the data from the survey would be used to enhance the tourism road maps in the Bimp-Eaga countries. The survey requires visitors to the Bimp-Eaga countries to answer questions pertinent to their visits.
The questions ask the visitors to evaluate the tourism products in the Bimp-Eaga countries, whether the holidays met their expectations and the names of their favourite holiday destinations.
“The data will be compiled and used by the council to plan tourism infrastructure and service in the Bimp-Eaga countries,” she said, adding that the survey would be carried out until August.
